Blind Salvage (Rylee Adamson #5) By: Shannon Mayer
Crossing into Ogre country is dangerous when you’re a polite, respectful gal. Which means I already know I’m in for a wild ride, despite the backup I’ve brought along. Even when things start to go sideways, and enemies close on us from every side, I still believe we have the upper hand. How very blind can one person be when it comes to a salvage? I’m about to find out.
There was a serious body count in this book. Someone that Rylee loved was almost always in danger and the only way to save them was to make bad decisions. Since this is fiction I’m sure (it better) all work out in the end, but in real life Rylee would have to deal with even worse consequences. Like end of the world. Of course maybe that’s the direction Shannon Mayer is going in, I don’t know.
Even with all the loss of life and Rylee’s poor decision making I really liked this book. I am going to take a break before moving on, though, because I didn’t devour this one as quickly and I’m afraid I’m going to burn myself out. It’s difficult, though, because the cliff hanger was major.
I wish she’d go ahead and kill Faris already. Bastard needs to die.
