Review:
I’m not a Spider-Man fan, not since I read Spider-Man: One More Day. Who in their right mind chooses to save a hundred year old woman over your supermodel wife who gave birth to your child? Lost all respect for him with that decision and he will forever be referred to as the pussy superhero in my household.
So take my review with a barrel of salt.
Andrew Garfield made a better Spider-Man than Tobey Maguire, and I liked the first two movies in that arc. I also liked Emma Stone as Gwen Stacey, but I like Emma Stone. Really the casting was perfect and there wasn’t an actor I didn’t like.
I thought the music during the crane scene was over the top.
The story was a lot bigger than just an origin story and I liked the bioterrorism part, though overall I felt it moved too slow.
I didn’t hate the movie, but I don’t think it’s up to the other Marvel movie standards. I will be watching the next one, but it’s not a movie I plan on buying.
3/5
The freeze frame at the end was some Twilight level of awful.
