Plot:

Two brothers follow their father’s footsteps as “hunters” fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons, and gods that roam the earth.

Review:

Oh my god that ending. The whole damn season had a pretty high body count, but that season finale gutted half the cast. I was honestly shocked, even though I know that not everyone will stay dead.

Really enjoyed this season. Dean, Jensen Ackles, got to kill Hitler, I wish they’d brought that up more through the season actually cause it was funny. I liked the addition of the British Men of Letters, especially since they were assholes. I also liked that their mom was there, even though she wasn’t in many episodes. The fact that they were finally captured and unable to escape from the government was funny.

I’m not one of the fans that keeps asking for a return to the monster of the week format. I like those episodes, but I enjoy the world and character growth more. Love that the brothers aren’t constantly at each other and distrusting and lying anymore, though, Dean still has that with Castiel, Misha Collins.

Really liked this season and it made me want to go back and rewatch the entire series, which is almost becoming a yearly thing. It’s gotten so long that I almost have to start as soon as I finish.
