Review:
This movie is so wonderfully directed and visually just awesome. I love watching it for the video game type feel and the little digs and jokes at nerd things I love. I certainly do not watch this for Scott’s character, Michael Cera, he’s an asshole. Even if he “redeems” himself at the end it’s still kind of eh.
I love Ramona Flowers, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, until her whole it was a phase thing for dating a girl. She’d been so cool and chill until then, often putting Scott in his place, but suddenly she gets all defensive about that? As someone who is bi that really annoyed me, could be a trigger. Whatever.
Anyway, movie is still great for the visuals and comedy. See it. Now. Do it.
I enjoy this movie so much, mostly for the game and nerdy references, too. Edgar Wright’s style of humor works great for this style of film.
“Is Scott here?”
*Scott jumps through window* “You just missed him.”
