How To Train Your Dragon (2010)
A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.
Vikings fighting dragons, this sounds really cool, but for whatever reason I just could not get into it. I liked the idea, but I just couldn’t get into this kids movie lol.
A boy Viking can’t bring himself to kill the dragons, ends up befriending them, and saves them all in the end.
I thought it was cool that he lost his foot in the end. I also liked that there were female Vikings fighting. Other than that, don’t really have much to say.
Man Seeking Woman (2015-?)
Plot: A naive romantic goes on a desperate quest for love when his longtime girlfriend dumps him.
Bizzare. That’s the word that kept coming to mind while I watched this show. I liked the very literal representation of things. When his sister set him up with a troll it was an actual troll. When his ex-girlfriend started going out with someone new it was really Hitler.
There was no voice over telling you what he was thinking it was all visually represented, which was fun. I laughed out loud a couple times but it didn’t leave me wanting more immediately. I’ll probably watch a couple more episodes, but I’m not sure if it will become a permanent addition to my TV schedule. 3/5
