Review:

I really liked this movie and I’m so glad I was able to see it in theaters. There were some minor issues, but overall I enjoyed myself.

Colin Firth was amazing as Galahad. Never imagined him as an action star, and honestly it looked like a stunt double might be doing some of the fighting, but his scene in the church was the best part of the movie. I laughed so hard when he told that church lady off, of course I was the only person in the theater laughing that hard.

Taron Egerton, Eggsy, played the perfect looking chav. My husband had a hard time believing that he could do all he did by the end of the movie, but because of his military experience and the fact that he was in training for what seemed like a few intense months, I was willing to let it slide.

Samuel L. Jackson made the perfect villain. He couldn’t stand the sight of blood and had a lisp, plus he still had the normal Samuel L. Jackson flair. His henchwoman was also really awesome.

The scene were everyone’s head blows up is awesome.

I didn’t understand why they were happy with the outcome of the end battle. By the time they disabled the machine, I’m sure, a fair amount of the world’s population was dead and/or seriously wounded.

Still we did get to see the ass of a princess.

Review:

Seriously I’m starting to feel like Stan from South Park in the episode where he thinks everything is shit.

To be clear, I did not think everything in this movie was shit. I was however incredibly disappointed in how this movie was shot. It didn’t help that the projector in the theater was out of focus, just enough for you to doubt whether or not it was, but anyway. My problem was the fact that it looked like a dad with a camcorder recorded this movie.

Shaky Cam!!!!!! Why must you show up and ruin movies?????

The camera was even moving around during non action scenes. What the hell was with that?

The story was pretty good. Though I didn’t get why Black Widow was trying to hook him up the entire movie, yet there was some chemistry going on between them. Black Widow was also more emotional in this movie than in the past. So instead of a Borg, maybe a half Vulcan.

If I was rating just on story it was a solid 4 stars, but I’m not.
