Alright, so I moved and Spectrum was super awesome and stuff happened and we haven’t had internet for two and a half weeks with no end in site. I’m currently accessing the internet almost exclusively on my phone. So needless to say I haven’t been checking for new figures recently. Naturally, that means things have started showing up on the Disney store.
A quick list of everything:
MARVEL Avengers Gift Set
C-3PO & R2-D2
Rey
Millennium Falcon Play Set
Sith Trooper
I’ve seen a couple pics of a few of these floating around for a couple weeks now, but they are all currently showing up on the online store.
The MARVEL Avengers Gift Set has a couple reskins, but there are also two new characters. Thor, Black Widow, and The Hulk all look pretty much the same. There seem to be a few changes to Black Widow, mainly her hair color, but I also believe her uniform is slightly different. Doctor Strange is translucent, but his actual body seems to be the same based on the pics. Still a cool effect.
The big thing here is the addition of Hawkeye and Iron Patriot. This is the first time we’re seeing these two characters in the line. Hawkeye comes with two heads and a bow and arrow set. While Iron Patriot comes with twin cannons. Just based on the online pics I’m not sure, but it looks like Iron Patriot is just a reskin of the old Iron Man figure. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.
New Star Wars Figures! The last one we had was Poe at number 11. I’m not sure what number 13 is, but I think it’s probably a new Kylo Ren. Nothing else is showing up on the store yet but I’ll update when it does.
Rey has new clothes, her face looks mostly the same and so does her body. The Sith Trooper, though, seems to be completely new. It has a different mask than the regular trooper as well as different shoulders and he comes with a large gun. Very cool looking.
I love the addition of some droids. C-3PO and R2-D2 look really good, but in my opinion they do not look $18.95 good, which is what they’re listed for on Disney’s website. Not sure why there’s such a different in price between them and the regular $12.95 for figures. We’ve had a few of the larger figures at $14.95, but that’s understandable with the size difference. The droids don’t look bigger than usual.
The new Millennium Falcon set now comes with Rey and BB-8, as well as new droid D-O. The paint colors are different from the previous set, the guns are different, but the rest seems to be the same. It still has the nice light up feature as well as sound effects. At $79.95 it’s too pricey for me.
I’ll stay on the lookout for new figures and update my lists as they come out.
