Disney Mandalorian Toybox Figure

A new Star Wars figure!! The Mandalorian with The Child!!! Ahhh!!! (sorry for all the exclamation points)

Listen, I wasn’t the hugest fan of The Mandalorian. I liked it, but there were definitely some rocky bits. However, it’s still Star Wars and it’s galaxies better than Episode Nine.

Anyway, The Mandalorian looks a lot like Boba and Jango Fett, of course. Which is a good thing in my book. They really nailed the Disney Toybox style with those characters. He’s got his nice armor, a gun, and did I mention The Child? Honestly, The Child is a bit eh. It doesn’t look like the crib closes and it’s basically a lump of plastic that hopefully has a flat enough bottom to sit.

Also, a bit of an annoyance, the figures are $2 more than a usual one. That’s normal for two characters, but still a bummer considering how little they did with The Child.

Jack Skellington Toybox Figure Re-released

Jack Skellington has been re-released for the upcoming holiday season. He was one of the first released for the Disney Toybox line and hasn’t been available for a while. Jack is one of the coolest looking characters, though, I imagine he’s nearly impossible to keep upright.

After the last update there hasn’t been any news from the Disney Toybox lines. Still hoping for more Star Wars figures and maybe the start of some princesses being released. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Toybox Wish List

This is an Amazon exclusive that I found today. I don’t collect these figures, but seeing it made me all of a sudden want an Agent Carter toybox figure so bad! Ughhhhhh It would be so cool. It’s never going to happen. Agent Carter has been supremely shafted by Marvel, but I’m going to dream. Basically, I’m creating a wish list of figures just for her lol

More New Toybox Figures!

Alright, so I was right with the guess that Peter Pan was one of the missing figures. He is number 15 in the Disney line. We’re still missing numbers 13 & 14 because the other two figures are a set of Donald and Goofy, and then Mike Wazowski and Randall from Monsters Inc. Donald and Goofy are listed as number 17.

Peter Pan is the new lower price, however Captain Hook from last time is not. I wonder if that’s because Hook is larger? Mike & Randal and Donald & Goofy are both priced higher since it’s two figures.

Personal opinion, they did a better job stylizing Pan, but the other new figures are a bit disappointing. Randall looks to be the only one they tried to do a little something. I’ve never been a big fan of those two series (I prefer the Star Wars line) so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I’ll continue to be on the lookout for the missing numbers 13 & 14. All lists on my site have been updated as well.

Disney Toybox: Captain Hook Plus a Price Markdown

I have not been checking the Disney store as often as usual. I have been preoccupied with other things, as I assume is everyone else. However, today I checked and I was happy to see a price markdown on a lot of the figures. Most of them seem to be down to $10 which is a much more reasonable price in my opinion.

The big news, though, is a new figure…Captain Hook?

Captain Hook

I was not expecting that at all. It seems like a very random choice. I’m not a fan of this figure and not just because it seems like an odd choice, but because I feel like they did a poor job stylizing him. The Star Wars and MARVEL series have always been a bit better, but with this one it’s like they didn’t try at all.

It appears as though he is number 16 in the Disney line. The last figure I have in that series is Genie at number 12. Who are the three other figures? Are we getting Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tinkerbell? Someone else? I have no idea, but I’ll let y’all know as soon as I find out.
